In terms of his objective as a creative artist, Animashaun says that ‘by employing a dynamic and diverse colour palette, I aim to convey the richness and energy of African culture, celebrating its vibrant traditions and narratives. Through the fusion of African themes and pop-art aesthetics, I strive to bridge the gap between contemporary artistic expressions and traditional African heritage’.

Indeed, ‘Twenti Tiri’ revels in fusion, as each painting in the series brings together elements of expressivity and treatment drawn from diverse sources and blending a variety of social themes, the urbane and the domestic occupying the same frame, the old dressed up in garb that is stunningly au courant, the young and trendy at home with the folksy.
